Detergent Solution
Mix 1/4 teaspoon of a translucent liquid dishwashing detergent into warm water. You can use the solution on both synthetic and natural-fiber carpets.
Vinegar Solution
Add a cup of white vinegar with two cups of warm water. If you have a natural-fiber carpet, mix 1/4 cup of white vinegar with 1/4 cup of warm water. Apply the solution and let it absorb into the carpet before washing.
Solvent Solution
For the solvent solution, use an oil solvent like nail polish remover. Mix a tablespoon with a cup of warm water then apply it to the carpet.
Ammonia Solution

Remove Any Excess
Start by removing any dirt, debris, or liquid as much as possible. Vacuum any dry and crumbly material. Scrape away anything sticky with a popsicle stick or butter knife.
Remember, never rub the cloth to remove carpet stains. It could damage the carpet fibers and remove any natural color. Removing instead to prevent pressing any dirt further into the carpet.
Apply the Carpet Stain Remover
